What Is A Cable Clamp?

Date: | Read: 33

Cable Clamp is a device designed and tested to support and maintain cables, and has been widely used around the world for many years.

It was not until the release of the EN50368 standard in 2003 that cable clamps had corresponding standards. This standard not only clarifies the support and retention of cables, but more importantly emphasizes the protection of cable management systems and the potential risks to personnel safety if cable clamps are not used. Before the emergence of EN50368, cable and cable clamp manufacturers all tested according to their own standards.

Subsequently, IEC61914 promulgated in 2009 and the new replacement standard in 2015 further emphasized the importance of cable clamp products and the correct use of cable clamps.
