What Are The Installation Specifications For Metal Cable Connector Ducts?
We know that Nylon Cable Gland cannot be operated arbitrarily during installation, and it needs to be installed according to the national standards. So what are the specific national standards for installation?
1. Technical preparation:
Carefully check the design drawings, survey the electrical conditions on site and the installation location. Develop a suitable construction plan, select the installation form, and determine the personnel arrangements for construction and installation.
2. The installation and construction should follow the following regulations:
①. The distance between the cable tray of the metal cable connector should be appropriate, at least it needs to meet the requirements of cable laying and connector installation.
②. When the ladder rack or perforated tray is laid horizontally, it cannot be lower than 2.5m above the ground. If it is a cable trough or a non-perforated tray, it should be 2.2m higher than the ground. When the bridge is laid vertically, a protective device needs to be added below 1.8m.
③. If the voltage of the cable is different and the purpose is different, it is usually not recommended to install it on the same bridge. If it must be installed together, it needs to be separated by a partition.
④. When fixing the cable tray, welding or expansion bolts can be used on the embedded iron parts. If the cable tray needs to pass through the floor, fire isolation should be done well.
In order to ensure the safety of installation workers and the safety of future cable use, the installation of metal cable joint troughs needs to strictly comply with national standards.
