Two Principles Should Be Followed When Testing Stainless Steel Cable Waterproof Joints
For Nylon Cable Gland manufacturers, in order to ensure that the quality of the connector products produced meets the standards, many tests are required before mass production to ensure that the performance and parameters of the products meet the quality production standards. Therefore, the connector products produced by regular manufacturers that we see on the market have undergone certain performance tests. Of course, some customers will also conduct their own tests. Whether it is manufacturer testing or customer testing, the following two principles must be followed.
1. Specifications
In order to ensure that the test results are accurate and reliable. Regardless of whether the content of the test is the material of the product or the production process, it should be carried out in accordance with normal products. Therefore, the stainless steel cable waterproof connector tested should be a product produced under normal production conditions, rather than a defective product or a product that uses other processes and materials in processing.
2. The test environment is more harsh
In many cases, the purpose of testing is to allow connector products to meet higher requirements and allow products of the same level to reach the level they should reach or a higher level. Therefore, when testing, the environment and conditions of the testing site should be harsh. For example, if the protection level of the tested connector product is IP68, it needs to be placed in 10 meters of water for two weeks to ensure that the product has good waterproof performance, and placed in 100 meters of water for destructive testing for 12 hours to ensure that the product performance is qualified.
Although different manufacturers use different methods and water depths when testing, in order to ensure that their own products meet technical standards, the testing requires not only specifications but also strict requirements.
