Cable Clamp
Self-adhesive cable clips are easy to install and do not require nails or pins to secure - you simply peel off a backing film to reveal a strong adhesive surface that allows you to secure the clip to the surface of your choice in seconds. They are available in different styles with pre-applied adhesive of varying strengths, depending on the specification of wires they are designed to secure.
Nail-in cable clips
Nail-in cable clips, also known as wall clips, contain nails or fixing pins within the housing. Nail-in cable clips are very common in professional and DIY jobs, and can be used to organize Ethernet and TV cables, or in the routing of outdoor lighting or power lines. Available in round or rectangular designs, a variety of sizes, shapes and materials are available, adding to their popularity.
Screw-in cable clips
Cable clips with screws are hard-wearing and are able to secure heavier, thicker wires and pipes. Examples include PMA conduit in mechanical equipment, cables within buildings, and conduit lines for high-pressure washdown in the food and beverage industry. Screw-in cable clips also have the benefit of adding strain relief to the locking nut/bushing, allowing the conduit to be terminated at the panel.
Flat Cable Clamps
For securing ribbon or flat wires against walls and other fixtures, rectangular flat cable clamp sets are a convenient, secure and neat choice. They are commonly used for Ethernet cables and other electrical wiring in homes, offices and industrial settings. Flat cable clamps are available in either nail-in or self-adhesive styles.
Round Cable Clamps
Round cable clamps are a very common and widely used fixture found in homes and workplaces around the world. The most common type of round cable clamp is the nail-in style, but depending on the application or environment, round cable clamps can be found in nearly every configuration, including screw-in and self-adhesive.
Coaxial Cable Clamps
Home AV systems and stereo wiring, as well as telephone and internet cables, are common reasons for using TV cable clamps. They are designed so that wires can be easily removed and repositioned when changes are needed. Common types are the round push-pin or nail-clip styles, usually in black or white plastic.
Saddle Cable Clamps
Wire saddles are designed to provide a secure mount for the cable and often help to keep the run of the wire slightly raised above the surface it is secured to. This can greatly reduce stress and wear by helping to maintain a more natural curve. Saddle cable clamps are commonly made from a variety of injection molded plastics and metals. A snap-on base and locking top allow for the addition or removal of additional wires.
P-Type Cable Clamps
P-Type cable clamps are commonly used to securely hold cables, pipes, hoses, and other conduits. They are easily recognizable by their shape when closed, which resembles the letter "P." They wrap around the bundle of cables and are secured in place with screws. A variety of materials and sizes are available, depending on the diameter of the bundle and the environment in which they will be used.
Metal Cable Clamps
Metal cable clamps are ideal for harsh industrial or manufacturing environments because they resist damage from chemicals and other environmental factors. They are commonly used in building escape routes that need to resist early collapse during a fire, and in outdoor environments exposed to UV light. Popular materials include steel cable clamps, stainless steel cable clamps, and brass cable clamps.
